Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and experience requirements for their respective posts:
- Finance Posts: Associate / Fellow member of ICAI / ICWAI with 10 to 19 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Mining Posts: Full-time Degree/B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering with a First/Second Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Coal) from DGMS. Requires 2 to 10 years of experience.
- Geology Post: M.Tech/M.Sc. in Geology/Geological Science/Applied Geology/Geo Exploration/Mineral Exploration with 7 years of experience.
- Environment Post: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering/Science with 7 years of experience.
- Survey Post: Diploma in Mines Survey/Mining Engineering with a Survey Certificate of Competency from DGMS and 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Medical Officer: Full-time MBBS from an MCI-recognized institute with 2 to 5 years of experience in a reputed hospital.
- Overman: Diploma in Mining with an Overman’s Certificate of Competency and 1 to 5 years of experience in a coal mine.
Age Limit
The age limit for candidates applying for these positions is calculated as on 14 October 2026. The minimum age to apply is 21 years. The maximum age limits are as follows:
- Addl. General Manager (Finance): 50 Years
- Manager, Dy. Manager, Asst. Manager, Medical Officer: 45 Years

Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed on probation for a minimum of one year and will receive a basic pay according to their respective grades. The salary scales are as follows:
- E-7 Grade: Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900
- E-4 Grade: Rs. 73,300 – 2,06,100
- E-3 Grade: Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700
- E-2/E-1 Grade: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500 / Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700
- S-2/S-1 Grade: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400
In addition to the Basic Pay, candidates will receive allowances and benefits like Dearness Allowance, Conveyance Expenses, House Rent Allowance, Medical Facilities, Gratuity, CMPF, and CMPS as per company rules.
