Eligibility Criteria for KGBV Jajpur Sanskrit Teacher

Candidates must fulfill the following educational and demographic requirements before applying:

1. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a B.A. with Sanskrit or Sahityacharya from a recognized University or Institute.
• Candidates must have passed the Odia language test up to the 10th Standard (HSC).

2. Age Limit (As on 01.09.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• The date of birth will be verified strictly as recorded in the High School Certificate (HSC) issued by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.

Remuneration & Service Terms

• Monthly Remuneration: A consolidated amount of Rs. 8,250/- per month (including employee and employer shares of EPF).
• Engagement Period: Purely temporary and contractual for an initial tenure of 11 months. Upon satisfactory performance, the engagement may be renewed for another 11 months after a mandatory one-day break in service.
• Reservation: There is no provision under the ORV Act for this engagement.

Selection Process

The selection for the Part Time Teacher (Sanskrit) post will be carried out without a written examination:

• Selection will be based purely on the marks secured in the qualifying examinations.
• A merit list will be prepared and approved by the district selection committee.
