RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 – Overview
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) No. 05/2026 for the recruitment of various Paramedical Staff positions across different railway zones in India. Eligible and interested candidates meeting the medical and technical qualifications can submit their applications online through the official portal.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Nursing Superintendent: Must have passed a 3-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university/institution, registered as a Nurse & Midwife.
- Pharmacist: 10+2 (Science) with Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Lab Assistant Gr II: 10+2 (Science) with DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology).
- (Refer to the official notification for specialized posts like Dialysis Technician, Audiologist, etc.)
2. Age Limit (As on reference date):
- Nursing Superintendent: 20 to 40 Years
- Other Posts: 18 to 33 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per Government rules.
Application Fee
- For UR / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹500/- (Partial refund upon attending the CBT)
- For SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Minorities: ₹250/- (Refundable fee)
- Payment Mode: Online (Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI)
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type questions assessing Professional Ability, General Awareness, General Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Science. (Negative marking of 1/3rd mark applies for every wrong answer).
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)

rrbapply.gov.in). - Click on CEN 05/2026 – Paramedical Categories and hit “Apply Online”.
- Register using valid credentials (Email & Mobile Number).
- Fill out the application form with personal and academic qualifications.
- Upload scanned photos, signatures, and essential certificates.
- Complete the fee payment online and submit the final form.
- Print out a copy for future references.
