Salary Scale & Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
Selected candidates will be placed in different pay levels according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) matrix:
- Engineering Officer Gr. I: Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 β 1,42,400)
- Engineering Assistant / Scientific Assistant: Level 6 (Rs. 35,400 β 1,12,400)
- Assistant Gr. II: Level 4 (Rs. 25,500 β 81,100)
- Technician Gr. I: Level 2 (Rs. 19,900 β 63,200)
- Technical Attendant Gr. I / MTS Gr. I: Level 1 (Rs. 18,000 β 56,900)
Educational Qualifications & Age Limits
- Engineering Officer Gr. I (Electrical/Civil): First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the respective discipline with a valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026). Upper Age Limit: 30 years.
- Engineering Assistant & Scientific Assistant: First Class 3-year Diploma or B.Sc. Degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Upper Age Limit: 35 years.
- Technician Gr. I: ITI Trade Certificate in the respective trade (Electrical/Mechanical). Upper Age Limit: 28 years.
- Assistant Gr. II: First Class Bachelor’s Degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA, etc.) with a minimum Grade-B Certificate in the Basic Computer Course (BCC) from NIELIT. Upper Age Limit: 30 years.
- Technical Attendant Gr. I & MTS Gr. I: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent. Upper Age Limits: 30 years (Technical Attendant) and 25 years (MTS).
